Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cathode-ray tube panel having a highly safe electrostatic preventive conductive film and a manufacturing method thereof.
CONSTITUTION: In four corner parts 2b of a panel 1, forming range of an electrical conductive film 5 is formed long up to the range containing an expected explosion-proof band installing position (m) from an electric conductive film forming area on an outside surface of the panel 1, and in the other parts, it is formed shorter than the four corner parts 2b. In the four corner parts 2b of the panel 1, it is sealed up so that the electric conductive film 5 formed on the outside surface of the panel 1 is formed long up to the range containing the expected explosion-proof band installing position (m), and in four side edge parts 2a except the four corner parts 2b of the panel 1, electric conductive liquid is applied to the outer surface of the panel 1 by a spin coat method in a condition of being sealed up so that the electric conductive film 5 is formed shorter than the four corner parts 2b.
