Abstract:
To provide a cationic gemini type surfactant which exhibits higher surface activity even when it is added in a small amount and is useful for various applications since it has excellent biodegradability and surface active performance in comparison with the conventional cationic gemini type surfactant.
The specified cationic gemini type surfactant has such a structure that two molecules of a tertiary amine compound are linked with the linking group of an acid anhydride.
