To provide a cation dyeable conjugate fiber that is produced by a stable production method, has an excellent clear dyeability, is dyeable with a cation dye, dyed under a normal pressure, has simultaneously excellent tensile strength and elongation characteristics and a soft feeling, and to provide a textile product such as an embroidery lace, etc., comprising the conjugate fiber.

The cation dyeable conjugate fiber has a strength at break (DS) of ≥4 cN/dtex, an elongation at break (DE) of ≥40% and DS×(DE)1/2of ≥27. The conjugate fiber is preferably a cation dyeable conjugate fiber obtained by disposing a modified polyester composed of a polyethylene terephthalate as a main repeating unit and 1-3 mol% of a 5-sodium sulfoisophthalate unit and 3-10 mol% of an adipic acid unit as dicarboxylic acid components in a sheath part and a polyamide in a core part, and having a volume ratio of the core part / the sheath part of 1/1-4/1.
