To provide a caulking apparatus, using small number of cylinders and having no cylinder arranged along the axial line of a counter force receiving member.

This caulking apparatus 20 includes a counter force receiving member 52 confronting one end 4a of a pin member 4, a cam mechanism 53 to transfer the counter force receiving member 52, and a pushing member 40 to pressure another end 4b of the pin member 4. The counter force receiving member 52 is designed to move only by H1 height along the axial line of the pin member 4. A cam mechanism 53 comprises a housing 70 sliding horizontally, a sliding member 71 that is accommodated in the housing 70 and shuttles horizontally, and a cylinder 54 driving the sliding member 71, in which a cam surface 80 is formed. As the sliding member 71 shuttling, the counter force receiving member 52 is forced to abut on the end 4a of the pin member 4 and retract from it.
