Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caulking machine with a simple structure which can stably obtain the fixed amount of caulking.SOLUTION: There is provided a caulking machine 10 for caulking a peripheral part of a hole of a second component in which a first component is press-fitted. The caulking machine includes: a body 11 which extends from a rear side to a front side in an axial direction; a hummer member 12 which is disposed on the body slidably in the axial direction, and has a claw 17 striking the peripheral part when the peripheral part is caulked; a stopper ring 13 which is disposed on an outer peripheral side of the body adjacent to the rear side of the hummer member, and can move in a vertical direction to the axial direction between an engaging position engaging with the hammer member and a releasing position releasing the engagement with the hammer member; a striking spring 14 for applying a forward load on the stopper ring; and a cam surface 15 which is provided on the body, and moves the stopper ring at the engaging position to the releasing position when the hammer member slides backward to the body by a predetermined distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
