Abstract:
PURPOSE: To detect pump cavitation phenomenon correctly.
CONSTITUTION: A cavitation phenomenon detection device is provided with an absolute value comparison and evaluation means 41 for comparing and evaluating a measurement signal with a prescribed reference value for at least one of vibration acceleration signals, signals related to noise, and signal related to variation on the operation output side in a pump, and a first relative value comparison and evaluation means 51 for relative value-evaluating the measurement signal about at which degree its condition is to one measurement signal and a signal inherent to the pump when it is normal, taking these as initial values. For the measurement signal relating to the pump operation input side variables, it is provided with a second absolute value comparison and evaluation means 42 for comparing and evaluating the measurement signal with the prescribed reference value, a second relative value comparison and evaluation means 52 for relative value-evaluating the measurement signal at which degree its condition is to the measurement signal relating to the pump operation input side and a signal inherent to the pump when it is normal, taking these as initial values, and a logical product processing means 6 for performing a logical product process for signals from the first absolute value comparison and evaluation means 41, and the first relative value comparison and evaluation means 51, and signals from the second absolute value comparison and evaluation means 42 and the second relative value comparison and evaluation means 52.
