Abstract:
To provide a cavity depth measuring method capable of reducing man-hours, terms and costs of works.
This method is for measuring depth of a cavity 22 formed in a lining rear surface of a tunnel already constructed. The method monitors torque and forward moved distance of a rod 2 for drilling during drilling, detects the reach of the forward moved rod 2 to a wall surface 22a in the cavity 22 from a torque variation of the rod 2 after drilling a lining surface 20, and measures the forward moved distance of the rod 2 to the wall surface 22a after the drilling, and thereby deduces the depth of the cavity 22.
