Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a frequency and suppress a frequency change due to a temperature without reduction in a Q value of a resonant cavity caused by a gap between the side face of the resonant cavity and a frequency adjusting movable plate.SOLUTION: In a cavity body 3 provided in a rectangular waveguide 1 and having two resonant cavities arranged side by side, an adjustment plate 5 which is deformable in the direction of the cavity axis is provided on one end face of each cavity, and a support plate 7 is fixed to a support portion 8 outside the end face of the cavity, and the adjusting plate 5 is deformed by turning a screw thread type shaft 10, and a filling material 12 made of a resin having a thermal expansion coefficient larger than that of the cavity material is filled between the support plate 7 and the adjusting plate 5 while the resonance frequency of the cavity is variably adjusted, and the change of the resonance frequency based on the deformation of the cavity is suppressed by deformation of the adjusting plate 5 by the filling material 12 at the time of temperature change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
