To suppress the occurrence of a disconnection of a PRACH (physical random access channel) due to a fault of a reception process resource for the PRACH, and facilitate a quick finding of the cause of the fault.

In a CDMA receiver, a resource control unit 104 monitors the reception process status of a reception process section 103 when a reception process section 102 is allocated as the reception process resource for the PRACH and the reception process section 103 as a reception process resource for a different channel. Under the monitor, when the reception process section 103 is not processing the reception of the different channel, it is allocated as a redundant resource (stand-by resource) to the reception process section 102, which is the occupied reception resource (active resource) already allocated for the PRACH. Thus, the reception process of the PRACH is executed by the active resource and by the stand-by resource alternately.
