The receiver adopting a DS(Direct-Spread)-CDMA mobile communication system that transmits spread data and a spread pilot signal and allows a receiver side to extract an amplitude phase shift amount from a pilot signal that is despread to correct despread data, is provided with a frequency error detection section 105-6 that detects a carrier frequency error, a frequency error averaging section 105-7, a compositing section 105-11 that composites frequency errors after averaging by each path, a base band AFC section 105-12 that uses the frequency error after the composition to compensate the carrier frequency, and an amplitude phase shift compensation quantity calculation section 105-10 that calculates a compensation quantity of an amplitude phase shift amount on the basis of a long range block SIR(Signal to Interference Ratio) and a fading frequency obtained from the amplitude phase shift amount.
