PURPOSE: To provide a ceiling cleaner, by which the cleaning for the ceiling surface which has been manually performed heretofore can be mechanically performed using washing liquid.

CONSTITUTION: A mount 2 capable of being elongated and contracted in the vertical direction is installed on a main body frame 1 capable of freely moving, a hopper 3 is fixed to the top of the mount, and a ring member 4 energized upward to closely adhere to the ceiling surface is attached on the upper end of the hopper 3. A rotary driven wiping member 5 is fitted in the hopper 3, a washing liquid is supplied to the member 5, a clearance 7 for passing the washing liquid is retained between the outer periphery of the wiping member 5 and the inner periphery of the ring member 4, and the washing liquid supplied to the wiping member 5 is collected and recovered in the hopper 3.
