To provide ceiling embedded type air conditioner which secures safety when mounting or removing a suction grill during the replacement of a filter while upgrading working efficiency.

In this body of ceiling-embedded type air conditioning equipment in which a front panel 3 with a suction port 3x and a blowoff port 3y opened is mounted on the undersurface of a body casing, a suction grill 5 is openably pivoted at the suction port 3x so as to detachably mount a filter 4 thereinside and a blower and a heat exchanger are arranged in an air path connecting the suction port 3x to the blowoff port 3y, a square hole 3a is formed in one side wall of the suction port 3x of the front panel 3. One side of the suction grill 5 is rotatably mounted on the other side wall while a flexible stay 6 extending upward with a stopper 6a at the tip thereof is mounted at a corner part on the other side of the suction grill 5. The stopper 6a is pressed into the square hole 3a to mount the flexible stay 6 freely sliding.
