Abstract:
To provide a safety device of a ceiling fan stopping energization to automatically avoid an unsafe state when load is repeatedly applied to blades and the blades are broken.SOLUTION: A ceiling fan includes: a motor part 3 attachable to a ceiling 50; a support part 5 rotated by the motor part 3; blades 6 mounted on the support part 5; a fall preventive member 7 capable of being engaged with the blades 6 and the support part 5; a safety switch 8 detecting magnetic force to control energization to the motor part 3; and a magnet 9. The blades 6 detect magnetic force of the magnet 9 mounted on the blades 6 via holding parts 26 to be energized when fixed to the support part 5. The safety switch 8 becomes unable to detect magnetic force and then stops the energization when the blades 6 and the magnet 9 move, and thereby an unsafe state can be automatically avoided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
