PURPOSE: To provide a ceiling fan wherein an illuminator attached to the ceiling fan can be controlled by not only a remote control unit but also a power on-off turning wall switch provided in a wall.
CONSTITUTION: A changeover switch 2 is provided in a control unit 1 of a ceiling fan main unit 102 of mounting an illuminator 107, and control of lighting or putting out the illuminator 107 is performed by the control unit 1 at the time of inputting a wall switch 108 based on setting the selector switch 2. An optical sensor 5 is provided in a microcomputer 6 of a control unit 4, to automatically control lighting the illuminator 107 at the time of inputting the wall switch 108 in accordance with brightness in a room. By mounting an EEPROM to the control unit, a lighting condition of the illuminator 107 is stored before turning off power at the time of closing power by the wall switch, and a condition of lighting or putting out the illuminator 107 can be reproduced.
