Title:
CEILING FAN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63235694
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
Known ceiling fans comprise a central shaft which is supported by two (ball)-bearings. This type of fan-designs requires perfect mounting handling and sometimes even high skillness. The claimed ceiling-fan support system in stead is simple in design, less expensive and relative easy to assemble. These features are obtained due to the fact that a specific designed shaft (10) is applied which is supported at one end by a ball-bearing (11) and at its other end by a sliding bearing (12). Moreover the shaft (10) is provided with a disc-like member (8) to which the rotor housing (1) is connected.
