Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling joint cover device that is superior in support strength of a center cover plate, and can stably maintaining the center cover plate substantially in the center of a joint.SOLUTION: Other end parts 6b of a pair of right and left support bars 6 are connected to adjacent structures P, Q through a joint S, respectively, and one end 6a of the support bars 6 is slidably fitted to a slideway 21 in the horizontal direction of a sliding substrate 5, respectively. Also, one end 6a of the right and left support bars 6 is maintained at both linear parts of endless wire 33 hung over by sheaves 32 disposed at right and left both ends of the sliding substrate 5, respectively. Accordingly, the sliding substrate 5 can be maintained substantially in the center of the joint S, even when the structures P, Q are relatively displaced due to earthquake, etc. Then, the support strength for supporting a support center cover plate 15 suspended to the sliding substrate 5 is high, and thereby the center cover plate 15 can be stably maintained over a comparatively long term.
