To provide an apparatus for conveying the ceiling of a radiation shield chamber for eliminating high-place work or dangerous work since, in order to install the ceiling of the radiation shield chamber, a base plate is fixed to the ceiling by a chemical anchor, several pieces of shield steel plates which are heavy goods are stacked on the base plate, carried to the ceiling by a lift or the like and welded toward the ceiling and such work is repeated several tens of times for production normally but it is necessary to work while facing the danger at all times because of adverse workability, high-place work and work under the shield steel plates which are heavy goods.

In a conveyance apparatus for shield steel plates constituting the ceiling of a radiation shield chamber, a jack 5 is set under a jack cradle 1, the jack cradle 1 is fixed by inserting a fixing pin 4 while utilizing holes opened on a post 2 and a support metal fitting 3, and work of jack-up is repeated sequentially, thereby conveying the shield steel plate to a ceiling position.
