Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell balance device capable of improving accuracy in equalizing charged states of batteries being charged/discharged.SOLUTION: A cell balance device 100 comprises: a cell balance circuit 101 for exchanging energy between batteries B1, B2 which are connected in series with each other, via an inductor L; and a control section 105 in which, when the batteries B1, B2 are nearly in a perfectly discharged state, respectively, energy is exchanged between the batteries B1, B2 so as to equalize dischargeable current amounts of the batteries B1, B2 and when the batteries B1, B2 are nearly in a fully charged state, respectively, operation of the cell balance circuit 101 is controlled so as to equalize chargeable current amounts of the batteries B1, B2.
