Abstract:
To provide a cell body for fuel cells that is resistant to various stress such as a temperature change, and has excellent durability, and to provide a method for manufacturing the cell body for fuel cells.
In the cell body for fuel cells 1, an electrolyte layer 3 and an air pole layer 4 are formed on a metal support 2. In this case, a recess 2A is formed by an arbitrary pattern at a side opposite to a side, where the electrolyte layer 3 of the metal support 2 is laminated; a bottom 2a at the recess 2A is made porous; a cell reinforcing member 6 having gas permeability is filled into a number of fine holes 2b at the bottom 2a in the recess 2A.
