PURPOSE: To hold three kinds of cells stably by making the cell receiver movable in the radial direction fo the cell while providing a contact section for regulating the movement on a moving member for stopping said receiver thus varying the stopping position of the receiving member.

CONSTITUTION: A cell receiving member 11 having V-shaped cross-section is provided movably up and down in a cell container 1 and energized upwardly by means of a spring 19. While a moving member 23 having one end supported by a supporting pin 27 is provided on both side walls 13a, 13b in the container 1, then said arm 25 is energized insertably into the container 1 by means of a spring, while a contact section 40 for contacting with the cells 59, 61 to regulate the movement of the moving member 23 is provided integrally with the moving member 23. Consequently when the single 1∼3 dry cell having different diameter is contained, the receiving member 11 will move to be stopped by the moving member 23 rotating outwardly around the pin 27 thus to hold various cells stably and reliably.
