Abstract:
An operator designates a specific measurement position on a hologram image displayed after imaging an entire culture plate via a holographic microscope. Then, a partial phase image and partial strength image are reconstructed from hologram data at the position, and these images are drawn in an image display area (71) on a screen (70) for displaying an image at a designated position, said screen being displayed on a display unit. When the operator sets a slice condition using a slice condition setting area (73) on the screen and clicks a button (74), partial phase images at a plurality of focal positions according to the slice condition are reconstructed. The operator reviews images at different focal positions and finds a suitable focal position by operating a slider or the like in an operation area (75) for selecting a focal position and clicks a button (76). Then, the focal position of the image at that time is selected as a suitable focal position for a well that holds the measurement position, and the phase image of an entire plate at the focal position is created. This allows focusing immediately after completion of imaging without waiting for the phase image of the entire plate to be created.
