Abstract:
To colonize a transplanted myocardial cell, to suppress the fibrosis thereof and to restore cardiac functions by transplanting the myocardial cell to a myocardial affected part receiving injury and administering an HGF (hepatocyte growth factor) gene.
A myocardial cell colonization promoter comprises the HGF gene as an active ingredient. Furthermore, the myocardial cell colonization promoter comprises the HGF gene and the transplanted cell (especially the myocardial cell) as the active ingredients. An HVJ (hemagglutinating virus of Japan) liposome method is used as a method for transferring the HGF gene.
