Abstract:
To equalize cell voltages or module voltages while energy for charging cells of a battery assembly is not wasted.
Circuits in which coils and switch parts are conected in series to each other and the respective coils are coupled electromagnetically with the other coils and connected in parallel to respective cells of a battery assembly, and a drive unit which drives the switches in the respective circuits, are provided. The cells are charged or discharged by electromotive forces induced in the respective coils by electromagnetic induction between the respective coils when the respective switch parts are driven.
