Abstract:
To provide a cellulose acetate film excellent in tear strength, folding strength as well as in optical characteristics and exhibiting good storage stability for a long period of time, and to provide an optical film, a polarizing plate, an optically compensation film and a liquid crystal display device obtained using the same.
The cellulose acylate film is formed by a solution casting method comprising steps including a casting step for casting a cellulose acylate composition comprising the cellulose acylate, a monomer (A) bearing a polymerizable group, a light-heat converting agent (IR) and a thermal polymerization initiator (I) and a step for irradiation with near infrared rays.
