Title:
CELLULOSE ESTER FILM, ITS PRODUCTION, THE FILM TO BE USED IN LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY MEMBER, AND POLARIZING PLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3829902
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject film suppressed in wrinkles liable to occur when made thin with a thickness of as thin as <80 μm, thereby raised in production yield, and improved in transparency owing to resulting in a thinner film, and improved in retardation as well, therefore suitable for use in liquid crystal display members.
SOLUTION: This film is a cellulose ester film 20-60 μm in thickness and 2.88-3.00 in average substitution degree, being to be used in liquid crystal display members. This film is produced through film formation, by a solution casting method, of a dope composition where a film constituent material comprising a cellulose ester 2.88-3.00 in average substitution degree is dissolved in a solvent.
