To prepare a union lining fabric comprising a cellulocic multifilament and a synthetic multifilament having the both advantages of the cellulosic multifilament, namely functions of lining fabric such as hand feeling, water absorption properties, antistatic properties and slipperiness and of the physical properties of the synthetic multifilament, capable of extremely improving occurrence of wale streaks caused due to loosening of the cellulosic multifilament and course marks after washing and rationalizing a processing cost.
In this woven fabric obtained by subjecting warps comprising lyocell fiber multifilament and a synthetic fiber multifilament to combined weaving with a weft, the combined weave lining fabric is composed of the lyocell fiber multifilament and the synthetic fiber multifilament are alternately arranged one by one. The lining fabric is obtained by weaving using warps in which the lyocell fiber multifilament and the synthetic fiber multifilament are alternately arranged one by one on a beam.
