Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose nanofiber production device capable of producing cellulose nanofiber with saved energy, and a method for producing cellulose nanofiber.SOLUTION: Provided is a cellulose nanofiber production device comprising: a chemical treatment mechanism where pulp fiber in slurry is subjected to oxidation treatment, hydrolysis treatment or chemical treatment made of their combination; a refiner where the pulp fiber in the slurry is roughly fibrillated; a high pressure homogenizer where the pulp fiber in the slurry is refined; and a heat exchange mechanism with a heat removal means where the heat generated by the high pressure homogenizer is removed using water. The heat exchange mechanism further has a heating means where the slurry of the chemical treatment mechanism is heated using the water heated in the heat removal means. It is preferable that the chemical treatment mechanism has a reaction tank, and the heating means feeds the heated water to the reaction tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
