Abstract:

To provide: cellulose nanofiber with high modification of a hydroxyl group, high crystallinity, and excellent stiffening effect; a method of efficiently manufacturing the cellulose nanofiber; a composite resin composition containing the cellulose nanofiber and a molded product formed by molding the composite resin composition.

The cellulose nanofiber is characterized in that an average degree of polymerization is 600-30,000, an aspect ratio is 20-10,000, an average diameter is 1-800 nm, wherein the cellulose nanofiber has an Iβ-type crystal peak in its X-ray diffraction pattern, its hydroxyl group is ester-modified, and the total modification degree with respect to the hydroxyl group is 1.0 or higher.
