Title:
CELLULOSIC FIBER-CONTAINING CLOTH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001254263
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a cellulosic fiber-containing cloth not causing discoloration and deterioration when used, simultaneously meeting long-lasting deodorant, antimicrobial, mildewproofing and antifouling properties and also crease resistance, containing decomposition products from a residual curing agent in the cloth in extremely low concentrations and therefore having safety, and to provide a cellulosic fiber-containing cloth simultaneously meeting long-lasting deodorant, antimicrobial, mildewproofing and antifouling properties and also crease resistance and having an excellent function that the concentration of residual formalin in the cloth is not larger than 20 ppm.

This cellulosic fiber-containing cloth where at least part of cellulosic fibers are modified by crosslinking has both photocatalytic semiconductor and binder on the surfaces of fibers in the cloth, and also has 1 to 4 of a crosslinking index defined by the following formula, the crosslinking index=(A-B) [wherein A is the coefficient of moisture absorption of the cellulosic fiber after being modified by crosslinking in an atmosphere at 30°C and 90% RH; and B is the coefficient of moisture absorption of the cellulosic fiber after being modified by crosslinking in an atmosphere at 20°C and 65% RH].
