To provide a cement admixture which enhances hardness and durability of a hardened matter by improving the water reducing property of a cement composition and the like and which can control its viscosity to be easy to work at its treating job site and to provide the cement composition containing the cement admixture.
A copolymer which is polymerized with monomer components containing three or more kinds of monomers such as an ethylenic monomer (A) having a polyoxyalkylene group, an unsaturated organic acid-base monomer (B) and another unsaturated monomer (C) is essential for the cement admixture. The copolymer in the cement admixture is produced by changing the molar ratio of the ethylenic monomer (A) to another unsaturated monomer (C) during polymerization.
