Title:
CEMENTED CARBIDE COATING DRILL WITH OIL HOLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006326792
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a cemented carbide coating drill with an oil hole that can improve hole machining accuracy in the deep hole machining using a minute amount of mist, has reduced cutting resistance, and can be easily designed and manufactured.

A round land 11 is formed such that a margin is not formed to the outer peripheral land part 10 of the cemented carbide coating drill 1 with an oil hole. An inclination of back taper is set to 0.3-0.5/100. A groove width ratio is set to ≥0.85 and ≤1.4. The length of the round land is set to more than five-times of the diameter D of the drill. The length of the back taper is set to more than five-times and less than twenty-times of the diameter of the drill. The cemented carbide coating tool is coated with one or more layers having a thickness of 0.5-5 μm and made of transition metals of group IVa, Va, and VIa in the periodic table and carbide, nitride, oxide, and boride of elements of group IIIb and IVb.
