Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the production of noise due to interference of mutual parts by restraining deflection in the vertical direction of a collar accompanying vibration of a propeller shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A collar 7 is fitted to a vehicle body through a rubber elastic body 5. A dynamic damper 6 is fitted to the outer circumferential face of the collar 7. Ball bearings 3,4 are fitted to the inner circumference of both end parts of the collar 7. Because both end parts of the collar 7 are supported with a propeller shaft 1 through the ball bearings 3,4, the end parts of the collar 7 are not deflected in the vertical direction.
