PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center console structure of a motor vehicle capable of leaning a portable electronic terminal against an opened lid, and holding the terminal, thus allowing an occupant to view a display surface of the terminal, without reducing the effective storage volume of a pocket tray, by the opened lid.SOLUTION: When a lid 14 is rotated forward in a vehicle from a closed position, a rear end of the lid 14 is lifted up at a position in front of a rear wall of a tray body part 7, in the vehicle, coming in a desired opened attitude where the lid is inclined downward, and being opened at an opened position where an open part of the tray body part 7 is opened. A corner part formed by a rear part of a bottom wall and a lower end of the rear wall of the tray body part 7 supports a lower part of a portable electronic terminal 30, and the lifted up rear end of the lid 14 supports an upper part of the portable electronic terminal, thus enabling the portable electronic terminal 30 to be leaned and held with a display surface 31 facing backward and diagonally upward in the vehicle, and allowing an occupant to view the display surface 31. The lid 14 does not reduce the effective storage volume of the tray body part 7 when opened, thus enabling the usability when goods are stored to be excellent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
