Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy the securement of an armrest function which can absorb a physical difference between occupants without using a movable mechanism, the securement of a sufficient space for the installation of a switch or the like on an upper face of a console main body, and the improvement of the operability of a dial switch.SOLUTION: A pair of left and right pad parts 40 extending to fore-and-aft directions, formed so as to be enlarged at rear parts toward the inside of a console main body 4 in a plane view, and continuous to a front end upper face of an armrest 8 at their upper faces of rear end parts so as to be substantially flush therewith, are arranged at both-side end parts of the console main body 4. A portion between the pair of left and right pad parts 40 out of the upper face of the console main body 4 is formed lower so as to serve as a carved recess 41. A dial switch 20 is arranged at the carved recess 41 so as to be protruded upwardly. A lid member 7 as a stepped-up part which can be used as a palm rest which is set higher than a bottom face of the carved recess 41, and set lower than upper faces of the pad parts 40 is located at a rear part of the dial switch 20 and in front of the armrest 8.
