Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center console structure that enables layout changing of various function parts arranged on an upper surface part.SOLUTION: Independent individual function modules 14-18 are provided for respective functions of function parts such as a housing part and an operation part, and installed on the upper surface part of a center console 10. In this case, a housing recess 12 for housing and installing the function modules 14-18 is provided to the upper surface part of the center console 10, the plan-view shapes of the function modules 14-18 are formed square or horizontal-rectangular, and housed by selecting positions in the housing recess 12 having a large-square plan-view shapes. The shift switch module 14 on which a shift-by-wire shift switch 26 is movable along a moving path in the housing recess 12, but inhibited from being removed from the housing recess 12 by means of a removal restriction structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
