Abstract:
To provide a center differential device which can perform torque-vectoring in front and behind a vehicle, is compact in a size, and excellent in mountability.SOLUTION: In a center differential device 1 having a differential mechanism 3 which allows the differential rotation of a first rotating shaft 4 at a front wheel side and a second rotating shaft 5 at a rear wheel side, an actuator 6 for differentially rotating the rotating shafts 4, 5 by imparting control torque to the differential mechanism 3, and an inversion mechanism 7 for rotating the rotating shafts 4, 5 reversely with respect to each other, the inversion mechanism 7 is constituted of a first control planetary gear mechanism 42 for transmitting the control torque to the first rotating shaft 4 via a first differential reaction force element 28 of the differential mechanism 3, and a second control planetary gear mechanism 43 for transmitting the control torque to the second rotating shaft 5 via a second differential reaction force element 30 of the differential mechanism 3. A gear ratio of a first gear row 49 in the first control planetary gear mechanism 42 and a gear ratio of a second gear row 50 in the second control planetary gear mechanism 43 are differentiated from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
