Abstract:
PURPOSE: To accurately and efficiently index a cake center.
CONSTITUTION: A cake W on a belt 16 is photographed with a camera 31. When the color of the belt 16 is, for example, green, an image is recognized with one of red and blue used as recognition color, and three points are assigned to the contour of the image. Then, the intersection of vertical bisectors to two sides of a triangle formed out of a line drawn across the three points, is taken as the center of the cake W. In this case, a plurality of centers may be indexed from a plurality of triangles and remaining values after excluding a maximum value equal to and above 1, and a minimum value, may be averaged for use as the center of the cake W. A control device 32 calculates a controlled variable from the center position of the cake W, and controls an X-axis drive motor 17 and a Y-axis drive motor 4, thereby positioning the cake W at the prescribed place.
