Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically check that a work is clamped corresponding to the change in the work length, and to automatically move the work to the form-rolling position.
SOLUTION: A press cylinder base 12 capable of regulating the position in the longitudinal direction, an operation center base 5 and a rear center base 7 which are movable in the longitudinal direction and capable of clamping a work W therebetween are arranged on a base 1 successively toward a roll die 4 of a roll-forming machine. A stopper member 22 is connected to the other end of a connection shaft 24 whose end is fixed to the rear center base 7, the stopper member 22 is constantly pulled by an air cylinder for clamping provided on the press cylinder base 12, the operation center base 5 fixed to the press cylinder 10 is moved to the roll-forming machine when a press cylinder 10 provided on the press cylinder base 12 is pushed forward, and a detection device to detect the movement is provided when the stopper member 22 is moved.
