Abstract:
A central processing unit has an operation mode retaining section 312, a usable command retaining section 313, and a command executing section 315. The operation mode retaining section 312 retains singular or plural operation mode(s) in plural operation modes. The usable command retaining section 313 retains commands related with the operation modes retained by the operation mode retaining section 312 as usable commands. The command executing section 315 adds a dynamically specified operation mode in the plural operation modes into the operation mode retaining section 312, and sets a command related with the added operation mode in the usable command retaining section 313, and acquires firmware to be used for executing the command, which is related with the operation modes retained in the operation mode retaining section 312 from the outside.
