Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a central processing unit for a process control system which is constituted of a central processing unit and plural peripheral equipments connected through a bus system with the central processing unit, in which both process systems can be affected by each other only a little bit, and especially the complete communicating capability of the central processing unit can be obtained, and an alarm responding time can be reduced and reproduced.
CONSTITUTION: A central processing unit 1 is provided with at least one control processor system 2 having a control processor 8 for processing a real time task, and at least another residual processor system 4 separated from the control processor 2 which has one residual processor 10 for processing a task which is not restrained by time. Also, a bus system 7 is provided with a control bus 7' and a residual bus 7'', and the control bus 7' is connected with the control processor system 2, and the residual bus 7" is connected with the residual processor system 4.
