To provide a tripod which can be loosened by a single action and locked at one place.
A locking lever in the center of the tripod serves as a lock for expansion/contraction and a hydraulic pump for the tripod. Flexible thin pressure resistant hoses are used and six hoses are distributed from a pump chamber in parallel, passed through respective legs, and connected to clamp parts at six places of 1st and 2nd stages in total. When the lock lever in the center is laid low, a piston is pushed to lock the six parts at the same time. When the lever is raised, hydraulic pressure drops and the lever becomes free, so the legs can automatically or manually be extended. Further, an air chamber is provided above the hydraulic pump to continue to always apply extra pressure and then a stabler lock state is maintained. The pressurized state can be confirmed through an oil level gauge provided in the air chamber.
