To provide a centralized monitoring method by which the location of the equipment in an abnormal or suspicious state in a room or outside a building and the detailed information of the state is displayed so as to be quickly and surely recognized.
The signals of a medical gas pressure gauge 16, a leakage current detector 10, load current detectors 11a-11j, and a body medical measuring instrument 17 or the like in each operation room 2-8 in a hospital are displayed through an interface part 22g on a local monitor 12, and transmitted to a centralized monitor room 1. Whether or not the equipment is turned into a normal or abnormal or suspicious state is judged by the monitor software of a computer 22 from the signal, and when it is judged that the equipment is turned into an abnormal or suspicious state, a symbol is flashed on the equipment in a plane layout figure 1 of the sickroom on a display 21, and drawings 21a-21e indicating the state are displayed.
