To reduce the generation of noises while suppressing the reduction in a supply air amount, in a centrifugal blower having a plate-form guide wall formed in a suction opening.
A guide wall 25 extending toward the central part of a suction opening is formed at the portion, corresponding to a nose part 22b of the opening outer edge part 23a of the suction opening 23, and a plate part 25a protruding in a manner to close a part of a single ventilation hole 25b is formed approximately at the central part of the ventilation hole 25b. Since reverse flow air and intake air are partitioned away from each other by a guide wall 25, this constitution prevents two kinds of air from direct interference with each other and prevents the excessive increase of suction resistance. Thus, reduction the generation of low frequency noises is practicable, while suppressing the reduction in a supply air amount.
