PURPOSE: To balance pressure by making different the outlet angle of the blade on one side of a vane wheel from that on the other side of the vane wheel, when the interval between the edge surface of a motor and the edge surface of a casing is smaller than the outside diameter of the vane wheel, in a suction type centrifugal blower.
CONSTITUTION: When the interval L between the edge surface 3 of a casing 1 which covers the both multiblade vane wheels 6a and 6b for suction and the edge surface of a motor 8 is less than the outside diameter of the vane wheel 6, the outlet angle of the blade in the part of the vane wheel 6a is set smaller than that in the part of the vane wheel 6b, and the flow speed of the air which passes through the part of the vane wheel 6a and the part of the vane wheel 6b is made equal, and the revolution of the vane wheel is stabilized. Therefore, the amount of work performed by the vane wheel on the side where the motor is installed is increased, and the pressure imbalance inside the vane wheel is eliminated, and the stable flow is secured, and the vibration and noise due to the pressure imbalance inside the vane wheel can be suppressed.
