Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the machine to stand long continued operation by supporting the fixed part of a bearing cylinder through a spring provided near the center of upper and lower bearings and thereby reducing wear of bearings.
CONSTITUTION: In a centrifugal clarifying machine used in a nuclear fuel reprocessing plant etc., a rod 21 is connected near the center of upper and lower bearings 4, 3 of a bearing cylinder 15. Since wear of the bearings can be reduced, the machine can be operated for a long time with minimum repairing.
