Abstract:
To inhibit deformation of each clutch plate.SOLUTION: A centrifugal clutch device includes: an input member 2; an output member 3; a centrifugal element 5; a biasing member 7; first and second clutch plates 41, 42; and a cam mechanism 6. The centrifugal element 5 rotates with the input member 2 and receives a centrifugal force. The biasing member 7 is disposed spaced apart from the centrifugal element 5 in an axial direction. The first and second clutch plates 41, 42 are disposed between the centrifugal element 5 and the biasing member 7. The first clutch plate 41 integrally rotates with the input member 2. The second clutch plate 42 integrally rotates with the output member 3. The cam mechanism 6 is configured to convert the centrifugal force of the centrifugal element 5 into a thrust force for moving the centrifugal element 5 toward the biasing member. The biasing member 7 contacts with the first clutch plate 41 at an outer periphery part of a contact surface 43 between the first clutch plate 41 and the second clutch plate 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
