To provide a centrifugal clutch device capable of reliably preventing an oscillating clutch shoe from being directly brought into contact with an inner circumferential wall surface of a driven side rotating member while avoiding an increase in the number of components.

The centrifugal clutch device includes: a drive plate 1; a clutch shoe 2 to be oscillated on the outside diameter side of the drive plate 1 around the axis L1 of oscillation when the centrifugal force is applied; a housing 3 having an inner circumferential wall surface 3a in the oscillating direction of the clutch shoe 2; a friction material 4 which is abutted on the inner circumferential wall surface 3a when the clutch shoe 2 is oscillated by the centrifugal force, and transmits the driving force of a driving means to a housing 3 and turns it; and a stopper means 7 capable of preventing any contact of the clutch shoe 2 in which the friction material 4 is worn by a predetermined amount with the inner circumferential wall surface 3a. The stopper means 7 is obtained by folding the drive plate 1.
