Title:
CENTRIFUGAL CLUTCH OF RADIO CONTROL HELICOPTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011127678
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To overcome the problem of the conventional centrifugal clutch of a radio control helicopter, wherein, since only two abutment surfaces are provided on a clutch shoe and a clutch bell, stable and efficient power transmission cannot be performed when a sudden blow-up of an engine occurs, and further since only two abutment surfaces are provided, the life of a liner of a frictional resistance material stuck to the inner surface of the clutch bell is short.

The above problem is overcome by providing three cutouts in the clutch shoe 1 to increase the number of abutment surfaces of the clutch shoe 1 and the clutch bell. Further, in this centrifugal clutch of a radio control helicopter, the abutment surface of the clutch shoe 1 is machined in advance into the same shape as the clutch bell inner peripheral wall surface when it abuts on the clutch bell inner peripheral wall surface to further increase the number of abut surfaces.
