To effectively suppress the vibration of a clutch weight during clutching in within a flat surface orthogonal to a rotational axis of an input member and in a direction in parallel with the axis of the input member, while reducing the number of parts to reduce a cost and assembling man-hours, in a centrifugal clutch in which the clutch weight capable of being frictionally engaged with the inner periphery of a clutch housing is rotatably journaled to a drive plate.
The centrifugal clutch has groove-form recessed parts 116. Each groove-form recessed part is formed along the rotative direction of the clutch weight 106 in such a manner that at least one end of the inner peripheral side of a clutch housing 105 thereof is closed by a side face opposed to the drive plate of the clutch weight 106. Damper rubber 117 can be abutted with inner faces 116a of the groove-form recessed parts 116 and are disposed in the groove-form recessed parts 116. Each damper rubber 117 is supported by the drive plate while being compressed and held between the drive plate and clutch weight 106.
