To minimize the number of centrifugal weights of a centrifugal clutch in a belt type continuously variable transmission of a motorcycle.
This centrifugal clutch is constituted by mounting three centrifugal weights 5 or less in sections of the outer periphery of a clutch plate 2 having a substantially disc shape through supporting pins 3 so as to swing freely in order to transmit rotation to a clutch outer 1 by the centrifugal weights 5. This centrifugal clutch is provided with a side plate 6 forming a through-hole 6a for inserting a tip section of the supporting pin 3, the side plate 6 is arranged on the centrifugal weight 5 to cover the centrifugal weight 5, and a tip of the supporting pin 3 is inserted and fixed in the through hole 6a of the side plate 6.
